I am looking at websites already set up for helping teens with book recommendations. My friend Dawn suggested some of her favorites. For color I liked Teen Reads for its' vibrant eye catching color scheme. Although not as colorful, I liked the content at Teens@Random. Finally, Teen Ink had great interactivity such as the what are your top five favorites section where kids can post things such as their favorite books, movies, foods, and dream vacations.
Anyone have other recommendations for me?

I liked the Teen Reads author interviews and comments as well as the color scheme.
Interactive for teens is key. They love surveys and places where they can spout their opinions. What a difference between the three color schemes! At first look, I didn't like the white on Teen Ink or in Teens@Random. Too harsh on the eyes.
I'm partial to the layout and color scheme of teens@random. I think it looks professional and clean, but still has enough going on to capture a younger audience. I also really like your idea to have the site be interactive and allow teens to add their input. I imagine teen to teen book recommendations are pretty powerful and I like your idea of including them as well as professional recommendations.

I liked the Teen Ink. I felt there was a lot to take in, but it was spread out nicely so as not to be overwhelming or obnoxious.
